Murder Rivals Innocent

Murder Rivals Innocent guide: survival tactics, coin collection, spotting the Murderer, group safety, and becoming the Hero role.

Last updated: June 2026

Innocents form the majority of every Murder Rivals round — up to ten players in a 12-player lobby on Place ID 5720801512 who must survive, collect coins, and assist the Sheriff without friendly fire chaos. Most players spend more time as Innocent than any other role in 한국머더’s murder-mystery formula.

This guide teaches survival positioning, coin efficiency, Murderer spotting, and Hero transitions.

Spotting the Murderer

Watch for:

  • Players leaving groups after bodies appear
  • Camping coin spawns in blind corners
  • Following one target persistently
  • Avoiding Sheriff without clear reason

Share observations in chat — don’t accuse without evidence.

Coin Collection

Coins fund Season 8 Pass tiers (Fairy, Pegasus, Seraphic), cases, and Trade Server purchases.

StrategyRisk
Safe route farmingLow coins, high survival
Hot zone farmingHigh coins, Murderer bait
Post-kill vacuumMurderer may camp body

Balance greed with survival — dead Innocents earn nothing.

Sheriff Support

Innocents enable Sheriff wins:

  • Don’t block Sheriff shots
  • Don’t fake-out Sheriff with sudden movement
  • Report last-seen locations of suspects
  • Protect Sheriff body after death for Hero pickup

Sheriff guide: Sheriff — understand their one-kill limitation on Innocents.

Becoming Hero

When Sheriff dies:

  1. Gun drops on ground
  2. Press E (interact) to pickup — Controls
  3. You become Hero with Sheriff win condition
  4. One shot wrong = innocent kill penalty ends Hero run

Innocent is not “lesser” — smart Innocents win rounds by surviving, funding the economy, and becoming Heroes when it matters.
